How do I install the Chrome extension?+
Open the Chrome Web Store listing at chromewebstore.google.com/detail/pgaonpecpneagoghgfkghdljfomdedbi and click Add to Chrome. Once installed, the Stashd icon appears in your toolbar — click it on any Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, or Threads post to save the current page.
How do I save content on mobile?+
Install Stashd as a PWA from your phone's browser (Share → Add to Home Screen on iOS, Install app on Android). Once installed, Stashd shows up in the native share sheet — tap Share in any social app, pick Stashd, and the post lands in your library. If you don't want to install the PWA, the Telegram bot below works from any phone.
How does the Telegram bot work?+
Open Telegram and message @StashdBot (direct link: t.me/StashdBot). Send it any supported link — forwarded or pasted — and it replies with a confirmation once the save is processed. Telegram saves count toward your monthly quota just like extension saves.
How does search work?+
Search naturally — just describe what you remember. Stashd runs a semantic match over captions, transcripts, summaries, and extracted metadata, so "pasta recipe from the Italian guy" works even if none of those exact words are in the post. You can narrow results further using the category chips at the top of your library.
How do I delete a save? Can I get it back?+
Deleting a save moves it to your archive — it's not permanently removed. Archived items disappear from your library and from search. If you save the same URL again, Stashd restores the original item automatically, keeping its tags and extracted data. Plus subscribers can also browse the full archive directly from the library via the Archived toggle; free users can't browse the archive, but re-saving a previously deleted URL still brings it back.
Can I export my library?+
Yes. Settings → Export Data lets you download your library as CSV or JSON. Each row includes the source URL, platform, raw transcript, summary, category, tags, extracted metadata, and created-at timestamp. The file is generated on demand.
How do I change my plan?+
Go to Settings → Subscription and tap Manage subscription. From there you can upgrade to Plus, switch between monthly and annual billing, or cancel. Cancellations keep your Plus access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?+
Settings has a Delete account button that opens a prefilled email to support@trystashd.com. We process account deletions manually so we can confirm it's really you — expect a reply within one business day.
